GPC accused in court of bribery

All the roads should lead to a company called L'Attitude, formerly based in an office on Deansgate Locks.

Ran by a former United youth player before he was ousted by Ferguson's son, Jason, who then renamed it Elite.

It doesn't require much digging if somebody was motivated, to see why certain deals happened and were buried.

Here's a starter for ten - look at Roy Carroll's purchase. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/elite-sports-group/beraterfirma/berater/753

Done with the agent Francis Martin. They had just two players on their books - Carroll and...Darren Fletcher.

Funnily enough, in the same building Spin Media ran Ferguson's testimonial. That was co-owned by Elliot Rashman, manager of Mick Hucknall, who, coincidentally, gave a concert at Haydock Park as part of it.

None of us would remotely accept this scurrilous nonsense which clearly amount to nothing more than the ramblings of an incorrigible rogue, but it does put me in mind of the story in one of the GPC's autobiographies as long ago as 1999 when he claimed that he'd accidentally accepted a parcel from a Russian agent containing £40k in cash.

Amazingly he placed it in the club safe for 12 months before he remembered it and told the club solicitor. I wrote an article about it in King of the Kippax at the time, in my naivety sugesting that there was something distinctly fishy about the whole story. Especially as the "collaborative witness" to this event was the club solicitor, Maurice Watkins.

Don't know how to post links but, if you're interested, google Ferguson + cash + safe and you'll see an extremely weighted article in the Independent. Essentially, the story was immediately buried.
