I agree with him a lot but didn't agree when he said Mario "didn't fancy it" today. In the 20 minutes he was on I saw no evidence of a player who didn't fancy it. What I did see was a little bit of frustration from a player who has a short fuse and can be hot headed at times and he needs to cut that out, but he's young and still learning and people forget that. Most of what we've seen this season from him has been excellent but for a young man still learning the English game, he isn't gonna blow teams away every week. To suggest he doesn't fancy it because he got himself sent off is ridiculous, he made mistakes but these things happen.
Elano and Robinho were two players that didn't fancy it when the going got tough, but I really don't think the same could have been said about Mario today. Lescott made a mistake that may have cost us two points but he didn't get the same stick. Joe Hart will lose us points, as will most players at some point through one error or another. The difference is those players are in the side because they will win us far more points than they will lose. I still believe Mario is one of them.
