Graeme Souness

I like Souness, but he's never going to come out in support of someone like Mario.

He's almost the anti-Souness footballer.

Josh Blue said:
I have to disagree I think he is the best pundit Sky have.
This, his criticism of Tevez after the Bayern game was spot and he also said he was very impressed with us yesterday, saying it was a good result for us.

Some of us Blues just can't accept anything being said against us. We are in the spotlight now and that is what the pundits are there for - to give their opinions. I am also of the opinion that Souness is one of the fairest that there is.

On another note, that tackle he made versus Aberdeen has to rank alongside The Keane on Haaland tackle as the worst I have seen. He was a brilliant midfielder though (as was Keane if we are honest).

He was a top player, called the Tevez situation perfectly, he is allowed to have an opinion.

Best pundit out there and would like to hear him co-commentate ahead of Alan Smith.

He tells it how it is, however much we might not like to hear some of it.

Could have sworn yesterday he said we had finally convinced him we were the real deal?

Souness is a good pundit but I can't help PMSL at the thought of him criticising any player for a bad challenge. He was one of the dirtiest, most cynical players I've seen in 40-odd years watching football, and he didn't need to be as he was a very talented footballer.

Best pundit bar none, he says exactly how it is and doesn't sit on the fence for anybody.

Just what is needed when the Sky team are full of so many yes men.
