Poll got it wrong again. If he actually listened to what Mancini and Zabaleta were saying they were having a go at the officials for the "off side" decision not the penalty. No wonder he managed 3 yellows to one player. Also once disciplined for running over some cars at a referees meeting whilst pissed.

UEFA Have just announced no further punishment for Mancini on ssn website at the moment :

]Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has escaped any UEFA sanction after his outburst at the final whistle of the Champions League 2-2 draw with Ajax.

Mancini marched onto the pitch after his side had fought back from 2-0 down in the Group D encounter, only to have a goal disallowed and see a penalty claim turned down in the closing moments.

UEFA have confirmed that the incident was not reported by either referee Peter Rasmussen or their match delegate at the Etihad Stadium.

When former officials are able to command inteviews and more time in the limelight it's proving that these officials are becoming more important that the game itself & its blatantly obvious that their is something seriously wrong with the quality of officiating in the modern game.
