Was driving through town on Saturday and saw Andy Flintoff getting into his car outside the Crown and Anchor and wound my window down and shouted over to him asking him 'Freddie is it true your a blue'. He shouted back yes then walked over and shook my hand through the window, top man. Couldn't believe afterwards the one thing I asked was about City and not the Ashes. Mrs 2112 got a bit excited and thought he was a bit of all right in the flesh.

I like Souness because he calls it as it is - good and bad about City. I'll take criticism from him because unlike all the other $ky pundits, he is sincere and not biased.

It doesn't make up for him and his Liverpool comrades regularly giving us a Maine Rd thrashing - he scored a brilliant goal in 82/83 high into Alex Williams' net to open the scoring after half an hour's containment by City and sadly that opened the floodgates to a 0-4 thrashing. Great player, now great pundit.

Souness is probably the most knowledgable pundit , he doesnt stand bullshit , and the sky yooonited love-in , he has criticised city in the past (reference tevez in munich etc) , but its constructive and usually correct , i also thought he was a brilliant player , hard as nails but could play as well , But anybody who stands up against the sky yooonited arse lickers lke redknapp,tyler,owen, will have my utmost respect.

Did anyone watch Sky Sports after the rags game?

I switched it on after I got in from the match and they were talking about our game and Glenn Hoddle was making little excuses about them selling Bale and you could tell Souness was getting wound up, he then mentioned about Tottenham spending £100M on "strengthening" the squad then turned around and said (in a metaphorical sense) "If you were a supporter would you rather have a season ticket at City or Tottenham at them moment?" Hoddles face was priceless the guy looked fucking gutted!!

Souness is about the only person on Sky at the moment that talks out of his mouth rather then his arse!

Souness from what i have seen is pretty fair in what he says and someone whom to me at least to be pretty impartial.

Think rat biy also does a decent job
