Quite interesting what the heck's being said about him on here.
Bayern seems to have quite some interest in him and pretty much cleared the way to get him in 2017 for that opt out clause of €30M.
Because of that teams that want him will, most likely, have to act in the summer.
Though, they already were after him last summer(offering €30 - €35 M), but we turned them down, and I wasn't sure if that was just Bayern or rather Pep, who really likes his central midfielders to be able to dictate the game with their passing.
And given that none of your CM's is able to do that(while Yaya's not able to play that position anymore and gone anyways, I've heard), Pep will certainly look to upgrade this area.
Anyone saying those €50M are way too high needs to remember that the huge TV deal will bring loads of money to the EPL + City's pretty rich anyways and because everyone knows that, the price(s) will just go up.
As far as Xhaka goes.
He certainly isn't going to win a race against Aguero, but he's not slow(as fuck) but rather needs the first two or three steps to fully gain speed.
He also does a lot with his positioning and like others have said here, is a deep lying playmaker and one of the best midfielders in the Bundesliga.
He also has over 100 touches per game(only trailing Alonso at that position, but Bayern's got at least 10% more posession per game), dominates games with his passing and still room to grow being 23 years of age.
Oh, and he also scores amazing goals occasionally.
BTW: One little hint.
Bild is a tabloid that does have some things right.
SportBild is just a spin off and a joke at predicting anything.
