I like both.
Gravy with pies and puddings.
Curry with fish, if I fancy it. Irish curry for preference.
Just chips? Either, depending on what I fancy.
Curry and gravy both have the useful property of making indifferent chippy chips taste good.

The only thing that should go on chip shop fish is salt and vinegar. I can't believe some of the disgusting things I'm reading on here. Probably the same people that would eat chicken and waffles, biscuits and gray and grits.
