It's a bit fucking weird tbh, he can't have shagged all their wives/girlfriends/daughters, maybe they have that thing when you pretend to hate someone but secretly yearn for more:-)

Bless em.

Unless he has an injury or a genuine impending transfer I think this is quite disrespectful, no reason to exclude a player when let's be honest Carson, Reis and likely other junior players will be there who have contributed far less over the last few years, feels a bit like he's being singled out without a known obvious reason.
Let's ask Jack. Maybe he has decided on a move and see no point in heading off state side and has some possible moves lined up

I said "personally" mate.. what's wrong, can't you deal with anyone having a different opinion to you ?

It's a forum, where people express differences of opinion, deal with it and stop getting so arsey.
Have whatever opnion you want, makes no odds to me.

But the Grealish you see making time for and going out of his way for kids, differently abled people and generally being a really nice person is what I see in contrast.
Personally I think he may be one of the most humble of our players so I doubt Pep has an issue with him in that regard, especially as Pep on that parade was bouncing round swigging beers and smoking a cuban.

Whats happened the last 18 months is unknown but for me personally I doubt the pic has owt to do whit it

You don't like it cool not everybody does and no one has to

“jack grealish’s medal cabinet would be the envy of many so called top players”

He’s won a lot. He’s a very good player. He is not, and never has been / will be a “top player”.
Sums him up really. He may have contributed to the treble but never approached the heights of others including Foden during the 23/24 season. A decent skin so let's wish him well.

I can see the frustration with Jack, his biggest problem was his fee. If we bought him for 40/50 mil nobody would bat an eyelid. For 100m you have to consistently deliver.

You are allowed to think negatively of him, as an outsider looking in though it does seem to be hate fueled but each to their own. Was he worth 100m? No, was he a big part of our best ever season as a club? Absolutely. For that I am thankful and I don't have short memories of the many things he did which didn't go down as some kind of stat, as the uneducated simply go off what the numbers say. Granted he should have scored/assisted more but he was never prolific in either department before joining so blame the club for signing a creative central player and throwing him on the left with discipline.

It is time to go, Pep doesn't fancy him and Pep deserves some flack for having him on the bench with no intention of ever playing him, taking up a spot for somebody else. His treatment hasn't looked great along with his blind loyalty to others who haven't performed this season.

Thanks and good luck Jack, thanks for the goals against United, Arsenal, Liverpool, thanks for that last ditch tackle on Salah at 1 nil down in the treble season that would have seen us go two down and possibly out of the game, only to win the ball back, start a move and assist the equaliser moments later. Thanks for winning the ball back high up against Bayern, backheeling it through assisting the assist to our second and crucial goal of the night. Thanks for coming on at Chelsea in the treble season, in the flattest game ever and within seconds assisting the winner for an invaluable 3 points. Thanks for the moments that so many surprisingly have forgotten.

Nobody would have bothered by the 100 million fee if he performed at the same level in the last 2 seasons as he did in the treble winning season.

The myth that Pep turns flair players into robots as being touted when it comes to Jack, can be simply debunked with one name

Robben.

3 season at Bayern this free spirited flair aand extremely clasd player flourished in various roles and never reigned in his talent or skill, Pep may be a stickler for possesion and control but if you willing enough your natural skills will also flourish.

I agree. He didn't consistently deliver, he said no we do lamb chicken n' fish - as Peter Kay once quipped; )

Some players plateau in their development, some cannot shrug off injuries, and some just lose the appetite needed to push themselves when they have already achieved so much. Irrespective of individual talent, either of those, let alone a combination thereof, should be the death knell for any player’s time at the club.

I can't believe Pep and Txixi bought the guy and then played him for the majority of the time for 3 years, Billy from Beswick must think Pep is a right chump.

The ' it never worked for him' nutters never answer that one.

Yeah, shame, but I’ve not seen any posts actually calling Grealish names! Problem on all footy forums, and this one is more liberal in who they let join and get straight into the nitty-gritty of any threads, is we take each poster’s word that they support Man City! Now, that for me is why I take the majority of posts with a mighty pinch of salt!
We've had to delete a few that weren't great.

See now if this was my forum, I’d create a sub-forum and ban people under certain circumstances, such as slagging off Grealish. It would be for a period of 100 days where they can think about what they said, or just carry on with shit posts with their banned buddies. Us civil folk wouldn’t be able to enter. A sin-bin if you will.

;-).

I know people on here will think differently, but banning people outright really is the ultimate last resort. Ric really isn't a fan of it, he's reluctant to go down the RAWK route of putting awkward cunts up against the wall and shooting them. Since I've been a mod, I seriously doubt I've totally banned (from the whole forum) a dozen people. If we were really strict, we'd ban more than that on a saturday afternoon in the match threads. Threadbans are a better tool. That being said, you've come perilously close to being kicked off a few times.

You could say the same about Mahrez and I think Pep gives certain players a license to express themself. Jack has been the opposite though and he has said before how he is doing what is asked of him which is ball retention quite clearly.
