Got to keep it going whilst he’s still here and they have the chance to rant.I see this odious thread is still going.
That reminds me.Got to keep it going whilst he’s still here and they have the chance to rant.
It saves the Rico Lewis a few hundred pages.
We’re all busy pal. Especially the journalists trying to get pictures of Jack staggering out of nightclubs every night. Oh - wait a minute ….. not seen any yetGoogle is your friend. I'm not interested in carrying on from what I've said thanks. I'm too busy.
Not comparing the two as Sterling contributed more on the field and I have praised his movement and even pointed out that is why he missed so many, because he got in them positions. His assist in that Villa game was great although if you was to ask for moments that summed up his play with us, that wouldn't be it. He didn't play like that often, he wasn't a get to the byline winger and whip it in. The real game changer in that Villa game was Zinny who also got a very good assist but also meant we was more balanced at the back as we had Fernandinho centre half that day bizarrely. Sterling bottled it against liverpool and united, every single time but that aside was class for us.Maybe but at least he gets in positions to miss those sitters.
Can you say the same with Jack.
That Villa comeback game our first goal from Raheem beating his man to a brilliant cross to Ilkay was as good as it gets wing play largely forgotten by our fans.
I think it was Raheems last season as well.So not anywhere near his best but one magical moment provided when it mattered.
Always poor v United & Liverpool if I remember and the open goal misses v Burnley and Lyon are haunting me for lifeThose fucking misses against the rags in 2018 haunt me, we could've beat them at home to win the league - 2-0 up at half time and Sterling missed about 4 in the first half too!
For all the misses and lackluster performances, he was still one of the greats for us in the modern era. Effective in different ways, but the drop offs we've seen from Sterling and Grealish doesn't take away how much they did for us and what they've contributed to. Just don't understand the venom and vigor people have when going at current or former players.Always poor v United & Liverpool if I remember and the open goal misses v Burnley and Lyon are haunting me for life
If you say soThere was always a sense with Sterling that football was just a job. Nothing wrong with that and he was a good professional but there wasn’t the same connection and ‘heart on his sleeve’.
Grealish is a normal bloke who just loves footy and a lot of fans can see themselves in him.
You say with LITTLE information about jack and how he has been at the club how can you then conclude that he has been causing problems for Pep and the team?Tbh with the little information about Jack and how he's been at the club it does sound like he's been causing a few problems for pep and the team. I do wonder if he was one of the ones Bernardo mentioned as not going to war for the team.
Does he count as our biggest flop? Money wise I mean (for me he was worth the money for what he gave us)
By looking at the little bits of information that have come out? That's how I arrived at my opinion. I neither hate him or am a fanboy though, sorry. You say with LITTLE information about jack and how he has been at the club how can you then conclude that he has been causing problems for Pep and the team?

The Italian City
Can't see Jack going abroad with a baby on the scene.A midfield of Mctominay, Grealish and de Bruyne in Serie A would be pretty fun to watch honestly.
Forgot about that. I'd prefer he stayed in the PL myself if he can take lower wages. Can't see Jack going abroad with a baby on the scene.
That Lyon one during Covid I was in Northumberland on a trip with the wife, no pub in the village had BT sports so we were sat around my phone trying to watch it in a boozer, when he fucking missed that!!Always poor v United & Liverpool if I remember and the open goal misses v Burnley and Lyon are haunting me for life
