The bickering in this thread is sad to read.

I know I’m a bit of a WUM so it might be uncharacteristic of me, but can’t we all just agree that for whatever reasons it probably is best for player and club that they part ways, but wish Jack all the best for his future and be thankful for his contributions?

Arguing the toss over this and that isn’t doing anyone any favours and just clouds his legacy. Yes it could’ve been better but he also contributed loads and was central to our greatest ever achievement. Both things can be true, it isn’t a zero sum game.
Thank you. No point being whiny dickheads over someone on the way out.

Oh do fuck off !!

:) xx

Perhaps Pep said to the players after the treble go out and enjoy yourselves but remember you are top athletes.
I seem to remember Jack being photographed a fair few times being helped out of night clubs in the early hours.
Just my gut feeling that Pep won't have liked that. OK leave early morning but not off your face !
I honestly don't think it has anything to.do with that. His supposed liking a drink, celebrating trophies, being pictured out. Walker did all that, played loads. Stones did a lot of it, played (when fit).

Think it is more to do with what Jack did on the pitch and in training.

That's all very well but this is the internet and someone has to win.

I think it’s an off field problem. Never felt that Jack had a bad game, especially when played in his best midfield position.
Anybody know when squad details will be released.

Jack is an alter boy compared to the likes of Romario, Ronaldinho and even good ol' granny shagging shrek, However going hard in their "pursuit of happiness" didn't stop them from performing at the highest level

That was a while back, today thanks to social media, our demands as fans ( see every matchday thread!) no chance, and at 300k per week not a lot to ask.

Not sure of how much truth there is to the news that Leverkusen are interested in Grealish but they should flipping do one given they’re about to help prop up Liverpools squad significantly in the coming season.

Well, they will have €150m burning a hole in their pocket to spend.

Agreed, to be honest I'd be surprised to receive a fee based on the salary he will be asking for.
There's plenty of interest tor taking him on loan but that's not in our best interests. I think we should ask 30m but be prepared to accept maybe 25m.

Grealish needs to be realistic and accept a lower salary if he wants regular football with a chance to establish himself back into the England squad.

City have done it before where they sold a player got a decent receipt but carried on paying the difference in wages for the length of the City contract. Rather then knock it off the transfer fee, it seems the preferred way.
