Even on loan I don't see anyone paying more than £100k a week. If we have to pay him £200k a week to go on loan, even £150k a week, we might as well keep him.

His stats in his last two seasons stand well above those of most of our current players, Jack Grealish being the most obvious.

That’s my point mate.Anyone who is a regular member of any title or trophy winning side is a club legend. They are the history makers who put the club where they are, and should be celebrated accordingly.
I'm not a fan of the term 'legend'. It's thrown about too easily in football, and the benchmark is far too low, but Raheem Sterling played a very important part in our recent history.

The word legend for me should be reserved for the very cream of the crop. Of recent generation we’re talking Silva, Kompany, Aguero, Kev, Gundogan
