Great ball from Elano to Jo who...

Had Elano not been shoved out by that dogs bast*rd hughes, we would be the current carling cup holders and in third place if not second now in the league.

All the talk of him not wanting to play for us was just more made up shite from the numpty, who was determined to get rid of anyone he did not sign, or cottoned on that he was a blagger with no f*cxking clue on what he was doing.

Mancini is trying to find a creative midfield player now because thats what the team needs, we had one of the best in Elano.

Absolute rubbish Elano as talented as he was sulked imagine him in that game recently V Liverpool toys would have flown out of the pram we how defensive we were. As I said in my previous post we only saw his best towards the end of last season because he knew his future at the club was on the line. Even under Sven he coasted through far too many games over 5 games you got 1 brilliant 2 average and 2 poor games out of him. Had he the attitude of say Kinkladze believe me the new contract would have been offered and he would still be a Manchester City player.

Actually a penalty scored or missed might well be the difference between winning a title or not. But I wouldn't have Elano take up one of the 11 at the moment either way.

your just clutching to try and justify your arguement.

To be fair, he didn't actually say that penalties win you titles in his original post.

What argument? That Elano's a good penalty taker? I was just adressing your argument...if you mean that Elano isn't a good enough all around player for us or that he didn't put the shifts in then I agree, if you're saying that a penalty can't be the difference between winning or losing a title then I disagree.

nah not really arguing, i agree but i also think alot more things can decide a title than one penelty miss. could be 5-0 up and get a pen.

-- Tue Mar 09, 2010 2:44 am --

That just confirms my whole point, we had to play like that against a p*ss poor bin dipper side that was there for the taking..........because we do not have a creative midfield player, Stevie Ireland is not a playmaker and needs a partner.

Against teams who stay deep you need a player who can run midfield and play though them, all we can do with the present set up is hit on the break up the sides..........no good against a team with no intention of attacking, as was shown by the stats V dippers of ONE shot in the entire game.

Elano was in the same boat as Dunne, Jo, and Jim Cassell (And his entire coaching staff) because he saw numpty for what he was, a blagger who had no clue, an so his card was marked no matter what he did.

Mancini knows without a playmaker we have limited options, the teams that defend deep can deal with balls in from the side by leaving the central defenders in place, nor can we batter a way through with the likes of Crocky santa injured cruise, that leaves us with bags of pace, no good agaist a packed defence who stay in place.

You are joking right?

Elano though talented was an extremly disruptive influence!

He should have done his talking on the pitch not in the media and he could only pass to Robinho or Jo(ke) if he was playing!

blueonblue

How do you back up your argumant that he is 1 of the best creative midfielders

How do you back up we would of won the league cup when we missed out to a last minute header from the most inform player on the planet!

How do you back up we would be 2nd in the league when the reason we are where we are is because we play as a team

Name me 4 times elano grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck to control and changed everything about it, i can think of 1 and it was far to late by the time he decided to turn up

Some people have a very deluded view on Elano the bloke was as bad as Robbie in attitude with half the talent!!

Elano though talented was an extremly disruptive influence!

Says who?, the dogs bast*d via his media cronies is who, along with Dunne, Sturidge, Jo, Robbie. Michael Johnson, Richards, and Cassell.............all victims of smear stories in the media after falling foul of numpty one way or another.

How do you back up your argumant that he is 1 of the best creative midfielders

Me and the Brazilian manager, along with Roberto Mancini think so.

How do you back up we would of won the league cup when we missed out to a last minute header from the most inform player on the planet!

We would have been three or four goals up by then with Elano playing, we surrendered the middle of the pitch in both games to a midfield we would have dominated with ease.

How do you back up we would be 2nd in the league when the reason we are where we are is because we play as a team

By play as a team you mean workrate and little creativity?, just look at the points dropped because we have been unable to break teams down due to no creativity in the middle.........liverpool as a good example

Name me 4 times elano grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck to control and changed everything about it, i can think of 1 and it was far to late by the time he decided to turn up

You name me four times when he was not hampered by numpties team selection and one tactic.........an the one your thinking of was only because due to injury the dogs bast*rd HAD to play that line up...........and who f*cked that game up for us, I`ll give you a clue........he was the only one in the ground that could not see Dunnie getting a red card coming, and the reason why was also his fault, the missing fullback formation left Dunnie getting dragged over to tackle a pace player every f*ckin time.

Robbies attitude was caused by the same numpty, doing the same thing, he had no understanding of flair players, and wanted shut of anyone he did not sign.

The ONLY bit you got right was that some people do indeed have a deluded veiw on Elano.

I agree with you on 1 thing, hughes is a cnut but, to think we would 3 or 4 goals on the scum because he played is stupid mate really

I f you love Elano alot thats your thing but ask yourself this question if he is so amazing 1 of the best creative midfielders on the planet with so much skill that he completly dominates games and can win cups for teams, why oh why is he playing in the turkish league and before us the ukrainian league!!

Elano one of the best creative midfielders out there.... Hence why we got him from Ukraine, why he failed to turn up over 70% of the games he played here, now in Turkey, and why no other teams in England or in Europe went for him last summer. I rest my case.

Elano is a myth. Thank god he is not here anymore.

Remember his performance V Forest in the cup he played like he couldn't be ar*d and he played like that for most of December and January when he played, thats why he was dropped for long periods as I said before as talented as he was his attitude and workrate was awful unless there was something in it for him. He realised his future was on the line and reacted towards the end of last season and it was seen for the sham it was.

It really is plain and simple you cannot blame Hughes for Elanos attitude problem. Looking some of the comments on here sorry your hero wasn't the man you build him up to be. Yes he was talented I won't argue that is a fact yes he could be the lynch pin that destroyed teams but he only did that when he felt like it both winters he was here he was basically useless except he moaned and groaned about "issues" the second season

It makes me laugh, blaming Hughes for Elano being shite, I wonder why the god Elano was crap for the majority of the time under Sven, a man who bent over backwards for him.
