Triumph

Saga

I like the cut of you gib sir. Saw Saga supporting Styx in London in 79. I think triumph even featured Ashley Mulford from Manchesters very own Sadcafe for a short period in time.

Would some kind soul please upload Hard Sun by Indio?

Top tune if you've not heard it.

Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam did a good cover but this is better.

An excellent choice DB.

Saw Saga in, I think, 1983, at UMIST.

Saw Styx at Bingley Hall in 1981 (I think).

Never saw Triumph but Blinding Light Show and I Live For The Weekend were masterpieces.

DOA - the hardcore Punk band, not the Pete Burns one, and that band who did "we'll sink with California", whose name has annoyingly totally escaped me right now, bastard :(

I think that was Youth brigade and they're from California. Getting old so I could be misremembering.

Good call on DOA- hardcore 81 was one of the first records(actual vinyl records) I owned.

No ones gonna mention snow?informer is a white rap classic.

Fucked up and a lot of their offshoots aren't bad for Canadians.

Manitoba anyone?
also know as caribou and daphni, have released a few albums under various monikers, had a single whilst as Manitoba called crayon that the beeb have used in various jingles.
I seen them at the leeds festival in 2003,great live and they all had pig masks on whilst playing that took me ages to work out as I was well oiled...
I think the lead singer is called dan snaith...
