Great Films & Soundtracks

Chariots of Fire.

Road to Perdition ( I particularly like the soundtrack)

Shaw shank redemption

Pans Labyrinth ( sad soundtrack).

Gladiator (of-course)

and many many others.

The best in my opinion: In dreams, Lord of the Rings.

Oh and don't forget Cavalleria Rusticana by Pietro Mascagni (in the Godfather)- my favorite song or piece or whatever you want to call it.

Haven't read the thread but I found listening to the Platoon soundtrack on acid most entertaining!
That's a new one for the bucket list.

Going obvious - pulp fiction!

Even more obvious - Dirty Dancing!

There Will Be Blood - Jonny Greenwood
The Lord of the Rings - Howard Shore
Star Wars - John Williams

And, 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Definitely Lord of the Rings for me

and....The Mission - Ennio Morricone

I know they get a lot of stick on here, and they're not my favourite band, but the Highlander soundtrack by Queen was great.
