can someone tell me when they seen jo play well in a city shirt, show desire to get the ball, show strength on the ball and show that he was a clss act ....... he didnt therefore he got sent on loan big fucking deal he is playing well for another team i am sorry but he was a cnut for saying he was sick and going on the lash

No one is disputing that Jo was shit when he played for us.
The dispute is how come Everton can make him a 5 goals in 7 games player...and Hughes can't?

Think you're missing the point mate. It's one of the jobs of a good manager to get the best out of his players, which Hughes clearly failed to do in this case. Just a coincidence that he starts banging the goals in when he's working for a decent manager? My arse it is!

well i think Hughes has or maybe its even Bowen that hasnt succeeded with JO but according what i have read its also the whole squad and the fans that has made him feel home... i can guess he rejoiced in coming to a club where he is the first choice as a striker while with us he was one of 5 options... many things add to why he is succeeding now not only Hughes or Bowen

might hve something to do with the fact the are 10 players behind him that are as a unit better than the 10 behind him at our ground, everton got them selves in 6/5th position with half a season with no strikers

Doesn't really surprise me as he's obviously a talented player and he's beginning to show it now he's being given a proper chance and a run of games

The 13 games Jo started we won 7, drew 3 and lost 3. Remeber Sunderland away, Portsmouth home, Omonia away, Liverpool home untill he was sacrificed, Stoke home. He was fantastic in all those game and thats without me trying to think, plus the team was bagging goals for fun.

He may not of scored many but in the 13 games he started we only failed to score on one occasion. In other 12 games we bagged a tasty 27 goals!! Thats including 12 goals in 7 away games!! Anyone who thinks he is a poor player needs to leave their PC, go into the bathroom and have a long hard stare into the mirror and say "do i really understand so little about football".

He won headers, held the ball up. brought the correct players into the game. When he did turn and run at the defence he was ALLWAYS drawing defenders to gim before releasing a team mate. The fact that he has started to score goals now as well showsn that he is adjusting more to the premiership.

He is 21, and has more european football experiance - namely champions league experiance than the rest of our strike force combined. Personally i would recall him now, give him a big hug, and take him to Hamburg.

Great post, while Jo wasn't scoring a lot of goals when he was starting games at the start of the season he was still playing well then he had a couple of bad games and was then dropped after the game against Twente at home and was never given a proper chance after that which was a shame. The stick he got from some City fans on here was uncalled for considering how few chances he's had since he came

I admire your argument but I can honestly say I never saw Jo have a 'fantastic' game like you did.

A cunning plan with two major flaws. Jo would rather stick a fork in his eye than play for our current manager, and even if he could be recalled (which I doubt), our illustrious manager won't have put him in the squad, so he is ineligible to play!

if you want a taster for how good he can be, will be for us given the chance, and he good he could become. Try and find the CSKA v Milan champs league games from last season.

He made them look simple home and away
