Greatest Ever Away Day?

My lad phoned me this morning still buzzing from yesterday, he rates it up there with Porto & Istanbul, despite having a zombie knife pulled on him & his mate coming out of the ground by a scruffy Scouse ****!
Jesus, hope he's ok mate

Everton in 2013/14, and the on-field death and resurrection of Dzeko, was epic. Possibly my favourite away day among many great ones.
It was my favourite away game until the semi final in Madrid in 2023. We didn't win but Kev's blammer was awesome. Still up there as an epic away day

The FA cup semi final at villa park in 81 after Paul Power scored in our 1-0 win, has to be up there.
Yes, a great occasion.
A long time ago, but seem to remember City were hanging on, as Ipswich were the best team in the League (although Villa pipped them to the title).
Paul Power's rocket free-kick was brilliant.
My favourite City kit as well...

Being at Stoke when we went to third tier Div 3 was a day and a half

Oh and have I ever mentioned I was at York with all the Bridge Fox Blues

Classic weekend. The sing off with the Chelsea fans in the airport on the Sunday evening was superb
We had a better party after the game than the Chavs did. Plenty of locals thought that we'd won the game! We had 2 chavs join us for a piss up because we were having a better time than they were. Great trip.

Def stoke away Francis debut. We took over the ground.
What a day, I thought we were going to win the lot that season, the thought didn't last long.

Notts County was a great trip too, terrible result but a belting laugh. I still have a scar on my right hand from helping some blues access the ground via a hole in a fence. It was also the day of 100 a side football near a petrol station outside Nottingham.

Honorable mention to Peterborough in the 81 Cup run, proper old school tie with blues in the rafters, on walls and up floodlights.
