Greatest (or most memorable) game you ever saw?

Games that I can remember watching (going back in time):

City 3-1 Barcelona
United 2-1 City
Bournemouth 0-4 City
City 1-1 Liverpool (Caballero's best moment at City)
City 6-1 Newcastle
City 6-3 Arsenal
City 3-1 Sunderland
City 6-0 Spurs (Navas's best moment at City)
City 3-2 QPR
City 1-0 United
United 1-6 City
City 1-0 Stoke
City 4-3 Spurs

Most memorable game - Sunderland 1 Plymouth 1. Why? It was the only City game I missed that year - when we beat Huddersfield 10-1. My only recollection is the horror of listening to the radio after the game and realising what I missed as loads of Mackems kept asking me the Newcastle score and all I could say was "who cares, Man City won 10-1". Never been so gutted

“Greatest" and “most memorable” not at all the same thing. Our game against Villa at the end of 2014 is hugely memorable because of the rain, and people streaming into the stadium until minutes into the game because there'd been a big hold-up on Mancunian way. I didn't know it at the time and I couldn't get my head round people turning up late for one of the biggest matches in our recent history. Then because I was incredibly tense until that first goal went in, very late in the game. Then Yaya's unbelievable goal to cap it off, one the most extraordinary that anyone's ever seen, at the Etihad or Maine Road. But it was far from being a great game of football.
Another memorable game was against Huddersfield, who just tried to clog us off the pitch, right through it. Probably the dirtiest side I've ever seen. There was a positively evil atmosphere on the Kippax right the way through it – a total fucking madhouse. Really murderous stuff.

If I ruled out the QPR game probably the most memorable would be Blackburn away when we won promotion back to the top flight under Joe Royle.

It had everything: The opposition hitting the woodwork repeatedly, 4 city goals, fans on a hill, congas, fans climbing over fences, probably our biggest away following to a domestic match since Newcastle 68, pitch invasion and remarkable scenes of celebration.

Does anyone know how many Blues were at Newcastle that day? It was a fcuk of a lot but no idea of the number.
