Go onto a rag board and ask them how many goals Berbatov and Tevez(both £30m players) have scored this season, and as Forevercity says ask yourself how many seasons they have been in the PL.

How many goals did Ronaldo score in his first season in the Premier League?

Again to be fair, he was a lot younger and hadn't even been playing professional football that long.

Yet went into a team full of world class players. So, because Robinho is 24 it means he should come here and score 10 goals every game? He hardly even played for Real. He's gone into a team yet to gel and half full of local lads from the academy, i really can't see where you're coming from, are you trying to say he wouldn't get into your team?

He would but I wouldn't want him (not because he isn't good enough). Bringing a player (and ego) as big as Robinho to a team like yours at such an early stage of your development was a mistake, it could seriously unbalance the team. Hopefully you have learned your lesson and bring in more players like Kompany and De Jong who are quality players but not as big as the likes of Robinho.

Don't agree with you one bit, he's been our best player this season. Ego? Bollocks mate. The lad just wants to play football and looks absolutely ecstatic when he is playing at his best. He's really fit in and when he has a world class centre forward next year he'll bang even more in.

2 goals in 4 months for a £32m is pitiful, no matter how you attempt to justify it.

or you can look at it as 15 for the season......if you want pitiful go over to the rag half of manchester and ask them how 30m berbatov is getting on......!

or Jo, he cost 19m and wasnt good enough for us, so how many has he got for you guys? 5?

5 goals in 4months for 19m is pitiful from a striker.

Robinho has had a dip in form as any player does in their first season, plus we dont have the most consistant of squads just yet, not like Torres' first season where he joined an eshtablished team.....so maybe 3rd top scorer and 2nd in the opta stats for a striker (even though hes a winger) isnt good enough for a first season eh?!

He signed on deadline day and was obviously cup tied and couldnt play against you, there's 6 games that he's missed. Granted he's been poor away from home as I've admitted but 5 goals in about 6 home matches is hardly pitiful. Considering he didn't play much for you he still managed 90 mins and 2 goals in his debut for us, not bad for a player low on confidence.

I don't dislike Everton, I sat in the lower gladys a couple of years ago and had a right laugh. I just do not like your long ball football, I think your club is living on borrowed time as you have no money. You have won more trophies than us but you will never have the same support as City. All in all you are a decent club but I worry for you in the future and think you may go the way of Leeds and Newcastle if you don't join the real world.

Ronaldo became Manchester United's first-ever Portuguese player when he signed for £12.24 million after the 2002–03 season

not 19m

Neither does any Evertonian, but that seemed to have died down as Arteta came into form, that's why i think our priority should be a creative central midfielder in the summer to take some of the weight off Arteta's shoulders.

If you'd have noticed, Robbies form dipped at the same time as the nightclub allegations. As soon as the charges were dropped, Robbie started scoring again. He's playing left wing and currently stands third in the prem top scorers.
Take your blinkers off mate, Robinho is class.

All I can say is that if any of you were accused of rape, could you honestly go into work and give your all without the worry at the back of your mind that you could end up getting stitched up big time?
The allegations must have been mindblowing for a young guy in a new country where he speaks very little of the language. He then left the club`s training camp without the club`s permission, but this was to visit his family so they got the facts from him first hand. No matter how much this guy gets paid, this allegation has caused him problems. The abuse handed out at Stoke (his first game after the allegations came out) and his subsequent poor performance was the start of his poor run.
The fact is that since the allegations were dropped he has come to life (he ran Everton ragged at Goodison), is this just a coincidence, I think not!
