I believe a file of evidence is currently with the CPS to consider bringing criminal charges against Brand. Here's hoping. Watch this space.

He received a verbal warning from a BBC executive in 2017.

This is not new. It has been covered up and ignored since it began.

I have no idea if his claim is true, but it makes total sense that middle class and slightly older women would feel more able to come forward with this kind of complaint. Sadly, its much more junior employees on crap wages who simply can't afford to take the risk in speaking out about this sort of thing.

It also smacks of "so what if I make inappropriate comments, or behave inappropriately? Everyone else puts up with it. It's only these middle classs women of a certain age who are being prudes". It's effectively an admission of wrong-doing.
