Grooming gang scandal

It’s quite tragic and funny reading you say this.

The lack of self awareness from you and a few others is off the scale.

Give it out but you can’t take it back can you?

Hope you enjoyed your Sunday (up until we got battered).

Seriously?

So "Asian" / "peasants from Pakistan" etc etc is nothing to do with distorting who perpetrates most CSE?
No, it obviously went over your head like the other poster( although likely he was just being a dick again)

Rochdale grooming gang get grief
People argue, colour race country is mentioned(bluemoon, doesn't it always:-))

A case in Scotland.brought up, insinuations are made, why aren't some people or the media discussing this etc which is an obvious attempt at so your not bothered because............

Me mentioning white and Scottish was done for an obvious reason. If posters are going to default to you're only bringing it up because of colour then others could also reverse that. Some of you only brought up Glasgow because they weren't of a certain colour. It seems the main point of these cases gets lost.

The media hasn't been as vocal on this maybe the whole media is a bit racist. Or maybe like everything media fatigue sets in.

Maybe as another poster said we could leave this nonsense out of it.

Anyhow I must have finally achieved subtlety in my posting.

Again, I’d point out the BBC did nothing wrong in the grooming case you mentioned. Did you listen to the Private Eye podcast I put on? There has been a lot of misinformation on the reporting of the case on social media (with proper sources explaining things).

Granted, the BBC haven’t covered themselves in glory recently with Russell Brand recently. Be interesting to hear your thoughts on that? I’ve read a few sources and he seems a bit of a wrong one.

Was hesitant to listen to it with Ian Hislop being a massive BBC earner and Private Eye basically being a spin-off from the BBC but gave it a listen and tbh, it ended up being exactly as crap as I thought it would be although it didn't really defend the BBC, just failed to point out how poor they were at bringing the scandal to attention and credited The Times instead.

Went off on a tangent towards the end about the usual Reform, Elon Musk, Tommy Robinson stuff too which I was expecting, blamed people for misinformation when the so-called misinformation came from the CPS at the time although I guess minsinformation isn't a crime if it comes from someone who works at the CPS!

And had the cheek to make the point about no-one other than GB News covering grooming gang trials because 'local newspapers are cash-strapped'. If only we had a national news broadcaster, with the same amount of funding as a small country, that could afford to cover some of these trials!

All-in-all I wouldn't listen to the podcast again but thanks for sharing.

Someone just sent me this, a good speech by Katie Lam in the House.

These rape gangs have been raping girls in as many as forty-five towns across the country!

Just a gentle reminder that they were in charge whilst all this happened ..and did f'@ck all

Apart from holding an enquiry costing £186 million and failing to act on its recommendations

These rape gangs have been operating since the 1980s in our towns. There have been numerous Conservative and Labour Govts (and a Conservative+LiberalDemocrat coalition) in that time.

I’m not really arsed about political party shit, and we can’t do anything about what’s not been done about it in the past, I’m more bothered about what’s going to be done about it next.
