Grooming gang scandal

Nothing to see another major scandal which will be swept under the carpet, bloods scandal, post office scandal, grooming scandal, bbc presenters sex scandal, too many people know about all these scandals and keep their mouths shut there just as guilty.

Indeed, but most on here would prefer you to look the other way, no need for a national enquiry as there are white grooming gangs too is the usual from the apologists for the rapists.
It really does shame us all.
I have said before that I am confident there will be a National enquiry, we may have to wait for the next government ,but it will come.
It won't be good reading for any members of any government of the past 30 years but will far worse for the Labour Party than anyone else. It won't be good for many of the posters on these threads either.
Don't be surprised if lots in the Parliamentary Labour Party break ranks with Starmer before then on the National enquiry issue but if that happens the slimy fucker will call the enquiry but make sure it doesn't have time to report before the next election.
If you are interested in how and why the Labour Party is so complicit, have a look on YouTube for Raj Miah and his take on Oldham council. Also GB news presenter Charlie Phillips on YouTube has done a lot of good work.

Which bit of '' there has already been a National Enquiry'' don't you understand?

Please tell us what another enquiry will reveal that the original one (costing £186 million ) didn't?

Please tell us which of the 50 recommendations made by the original enquiry you agree with (together with your explanation as to why the Conservatives failed to implement any of them.

Starmer bought the first prosecutions against Muslim grooming gangs and reshaped it to bring more justice, Jess Phillips has been at the forefront for victims of abuse.
We’ve had countless enquiries, most notably the baroness J one in which as a result recommendations were put forward - the Tories sat on these and didn’t enact any. Shame on them.
There is no need to waste more millions, more time carrying out a national enquiry to end up with the same results.
Start enacting the recommendations and get on with that, any further delay is failing the victims.
They are not interested in the victim's, just inviting racial division and attacking the Labour party.
May "losing" the Westminster Peadophile dossier, not a word
Countless members of a LOT of far right groups convicted for sexual abuse of children, silence.
Tories ignoring the recommendations of the far reaching enquiry, look the other way.
I repeat they do not care about the victims, just political point scoring.

Lucy Powell’s comments on this topic yesterday - in particular the tone of her voice when she made them - were absolutely disgraceful.

Disgraceful comments and it seems as though Labour want all this to just go away…

Utterly cuntish thing to say.
She , like MOST politicians of all sides, thinks shes better and above us plebs.

Politicians are largely fuckin busy, interfering, bossy weirdo’s.

Apart from the very poor taste of her comments, just how thick would you have to be to come out with that little outburst whilst on national media?

Thick as two short planks and with an inflated sense of self regard.

It’s becoming ever clearer that Labour are far more concerned with upsetting local demographics and their guaranteed block votes than they are the victims.

If I’m wrong, just hold the inquiries that have been promised at local levels at least and see what comes of them yes?

Badenoch got a slagging the other week for saying she hadnt watched the drama Adolescence.

The way this bitch made light of a documentary on child rape is beyond the pale

Netflix series, Taylor Swift concerts (as long as the tickets are free that is). It’s the limit of their intellect.

You’ve got a PM meeting with writers of a fictitious TV series to discuss policy, and the Leader of the House of Commons sneering at a factual documentary on child rape.

Thank God the grown-ups are in charge.

yep. Trivialising the little stuff but sneering at the big stuff

Politicians are by and large narcissistic bullies who delight in telling everyone else what to do, in it to feather their own nest, or both.

Anyone wanting to be a politician should be immediately banned from being one (b.connelly).

At least the complete and utter disdain the government has for the concerns of the electorate is now absolutely clear to everyone.
So, we’ve had a full and open inquiry, that the Conservative Party undertook, and came up with multiple recommendations that the Conservative Party chose not to implement. Now we have the same Conservative Party asking for a further inquiry because they think that the Labour Party are somehow complicit?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m absolutely for any wrong’ens to be held to account, but how did the the previous government fail to prosecute the opposition, when they had all the evidence to do so?

On a personal note, it’s not about abusing a child, or an adult, if you are an abusive **** then you are just another dirty bastard coward, that needs to be laid to bed, and disappear from society forever. You are that bad.

What if the issues are in places like the CofE?

Have you considered that the victims might not want there to be an enquiry as it brings bad memories back to them as they rebuild their lives.

I think there should be a national enquiry, it should be far reaching and investigate every area of child abuse whoever was involved from Asian gangs to EDL members, from Catholic priests to school teachers, from those with power to those who have none.

It is a fact that most sexual abuse happens within family units, fathers, uncles, mums and aunts have all been accused, are we going to start investigating families abuse, when i consider it a police matter.

There has been some awful crimes against our nations young people, whilst i support an investigation, i wonder where it will stop and how pervasive it might become and how many innocent lives are ruined by guilt of association.

It is not as simple as you make out and i do not think "local demographics" which i imagine you to mean men of south asian heritage is helpful in this debate, if you are you are by default excluding the vast majority of child abusers.
