Nothing wrong with young adults living with their parents when rent and bills are expensive. Living with the parents allows young adults to save up for a deposit whilst supporting their family with rent etc so win/win.
I moved out at 18 to go to uni then moved to London for my first post graduate job forking out £800 a month rent (this was 15 years a go). Many mates lived at home and were able to travel the world etc. I would have loved to have lived at home and save but instead I was skint and saved what I could. Fortunately I've been able to buy a house in my 30s but nothing wrong with living with the rents. Times are different and life's expensive.
