Lancashire hotpot Vs Mince beef and Dumplings

Tough one for me, as I love both, but mince beef and dumplings edges it.

Tough tough call, especially if the Hotpot has a 'lid' on it, I honestly can't choose so I'll have to go with what I fancy right at this moment, and that would be the Hotpot.

If it was proper beef with dumplings, cooked until the meat was falling apart, then that would have edged it.

as it should be beef stew and dumps, rather than mince, it's the hotpot for me (as long as it's not neck of lamb with bits of spinal cord lurking under the potatoes)
