Guardiola confirms intention to stay at City for next two years P123

I said I would stop posting when our new manager would be official and that's what I'm going to do, but now I'm here to reassure the very few of you who are still a bit nervous about Pep's future (can't believe I'm doing this).

I don't know which Juve forum you've taken a peek at, but at the one I follow we're really exhausted by this whole mess and right now we only want the club to announce someone, anyone, just so we can go on with the transfer market and think about the team's future.

All the signs (including Juve's share plummeting this morning) lead to Pep staying where he is so there are just a couple of us who still believe, but now it's just blind faith and nothing else. In my previous posts I wrote that I hoped he would come to Turin because there were lots of mixed news, but even a fan can go only so far before accepting reality.

For what it's worth, I don't think the many rumours of him coming to Juve were just invented to raise our stock market, since Sarri's appointment will drag it back down to the start and below. There were probably real talks or attempts that didn't end well, for one reason or another.

It wasn't a media attack on your club, we were just another example of how news spread by different media can confuse you as hell and play on your hopes to make you believe things that don't have any truth to them anymore.

I have been looking at this one. It's a bit delusional but very amusing nonetheless https://www.juventuz.com/threads/new-juve-coach-the-last-chapter.43983/

I can honestly say that the way Juve as a club, it’s fans and the Italian media have conducted themselves in the last 14 days - pretty much guarantees that Pep and his team will never entertain you. For all that Pep is as a coach, he’s more than that, he seems a decent genuine person who does things properly - he honours his contracts and commitments to the letter. Quite why someone as professional as Pep would ever dream of getting involved with a circus like Juventus would astound me. I can see Pep going back to Barcelona, managing a National Team but, I simply don’t see him in that cesspit of backhanders, fraud and institutionalised racism that is modern day Italian football.

There probably were. Maybe they approached Pep and asked if he would like to be their next manager, and he said it's a role that might be of interest in the future, but I'm very happy at City now and intend to honour my contract here. Or something.

I think it’s clear that it’s been something like this. Can’t believe it hasnt already been suggested.

Pep clearly likes to plan his future well in advance. He knew he was coming to City after Munich practically from the moment he went there.

He hasn’t done the Italian league yet. I would suggest there were early talks about his next move , that the Italian media have dragged out of all proportion.

As stated by the man himself, he will complete his remaining 2 years and possibly 1 year extra.

I imagine he's communicated that to his agents who in turn have made any potential future suitors aware, wouldn't suprise me if we see him @ Juventus or an international team in 2021 or 2022.

Sounds plausible ric as there has been far too much chat for there not to have even been positive contact? Personally would hate pep at Juventus, would love to see him at AC Milan and revive them? In about 10 years though! ;-)

I believe not one person believed the Pep rumours! We are used to bullshit in the media most are 95% false disingenuous claptrap! Media today report or tweet print for one reason to make money from there clicks!

I can see why you would look at an English forum but yeah, that's not the one I follow (which is Italian, bigger, just as delusional and funnier).

... but we also have some flaws.

Yeah, that's what I think, too.

Revive AC Milan (even in 10 years time)?! I wouldn’t give those shit-houses the steam off my piss!

I do speak Italian pretty fluently so would welcome any links to better forums. I have enjoyed reading that one though.
