They've not been charged with anything so should be perfectly clear to travel where they want. And this is the point a lot of people seem to be missing. They have been imprisoned without any charges being brought, something that is unheard of in a first world country and a supposed democracy. The reason given for refusing bail is that they may engage in Catalan politics despite assurances to the contrary being given. It has nothing to do with them fleeing the country. Britain and the E.U.'s silence on this is disgraceful.
