Very surprised really Pep seemed the perfect choice with the new academy being built plus two ex barce guys recently appointed. What could have happened is Pep wanted to 100% certain for the job so he can plan for it, at the moment there is still a chance we could end up with the double and it would have been very difficult to sack Mancini then. Will be interesting to see what happens if we fail to win the league as I cant see Mancini staying in the job if that happens.
