I think Guardiola has chosen Bayern because they have a 10 year youth academy already in place and work similar to Barca bringing through young players to the senior team. What could have happened is Pep wanted to 100% certain for the job so he can plan for it, at the moment there is still a chance we could end up with the double and it would have been very difficult to sack Mancini then. Will be interesting to see what happens if we fail to win the league as I cant see Mancini staying in the job if that happens.

Why not just stick with the wonderful manager we currently have in Mancini
Mancini has started to build a dynasty here, OK this year has been a bit of shocker with the talent we have at our disposable, especially in Europe - but let's not become like Chelsea who sack a manager after a poor season!
