Guardiola hints to his future extending at City

Watched it in a half red, half blue pub yesterday. My local. Fucking funny hearing them on their side when we were cheering our goals. Their demeanour was a sight to behold. It genuinely felt like roles reversed from May 1999 when they were dominating everything and we were shit. The penny has certainly dropped.
It dropped some time ago although very few will admit it,reality and humility are both things the vast majority of the obnoxious cvnts struggle with.

Many said he would be found out in this League and he had it easy before. 2 years later, he has enhanced his reputation even further and fellow coaches consider him the best at the moment.
I remember some vociferous numpties claiming we should have secured Conte instead.

My word....

In fact, what is actually happening is that English football, even kids' football on a Sunday, is being significantly influenced by Pep's ideals. Where our previous conceit would have closed our ears and eyes, his talent cannot be ignored.

That is exactly right and the biggest impact I am surprised that the media have not done more about this. First season pep doesn’t know English football you can’t play out from the back in England and play high press game . It does not work they all said

Now you can see this influence right through our game from junior teams to other teams in the premier league . The most telling influence is to our own national side adopt this and try and England play the pep way.

Brilliant isn't it, Fuckin year after year mocked and ridiculed, we were just nothing to them. I love seeing every last one of the fuckers on their knees.

Who knows what will happen when his contract starts to run down. But I will say this: unlike at Bayern, and even Barca, there are no constant rumours about what his next destination is. In itself that suggests, for now at least, that he's pretty happy.

Maybe one more year extension after this present one is done.

More out of love and appreciation to City than anything else.

His lad is quite the student and they will relocate to the country where he goes to Uni.

Let's hope between that time, the lad meets a proper Manc lass like Kompany and then all bets are off.

As Pep had previously referenced, it's more a cultural experience for him now and he says won't ever manage again in England.

He has more money than he can spend in three lifetimes.

It would not surprise me if he goes to South America and the romantic in him takes the Brazil national team.

He would officially be Don for an entire nation.

Whenever that sad day comes, the reality will be, we will never have it so good ever again, certainly from as aesthetic footballing view.

Genius.
For me the reason he stays beyond his already extended contract is the fact the team has many years together.

These players ain't signing long term if Pep ain't going to be around.

6 years would be nice let's see if we manage to pull off the signings of FDJ & MDL

Those 2 would give City the chance to build somthing huge & Pep would be a legend.

He also has a lot less crap to deal with off the football pitch, at Barca and Bayern he was consistently playing political games with all the ex players and directors who are falling over themselves to get on a microphone. At City we have given him the platform to just focus on football, reducing his stress and time spent on anything else.

The long term contract extensions, investment in the best youngsters as well as having a strong experienced core is making it *easy* for Pep.

Everything is in place for him to stay for a very long time.

Always imagined a Director of Football Emeritus post for him in the CFG. Taking his football throughout the entire group's system from top to bottom. A worldwide structure of Guardiola-Ball from the bottom up to create players, trainers, managers and coaches at all agegroups...

It's a unique prospect which can only be offered by City.

Glad to see we don't forget our roots by recognising Alan for being a football genius as well.

I hope he extends as long as possible. I suspect his family's happiness will be vital, i really enjoyed his recent BBC interview where he said he would always be a mancunian.
