Guardiola pays tribute to City

Why do people moan about Barry, I know he's not quick but he hardly ever lets us down. A very good player to have in the squad for hopefully the many many games we have to play this season.
 
Why is it that so many threads turn into a Barry off?!!! This was about pep praising us, let's just leave it at that. He didn't mention Hart, does that mean he doesn't rate him?!!
 
Barry is quality at what he does ala Hamman before him... winning fouls, passing and breaking up play with intelligent play.

As good as De Jong is (and it is fantastic seeing him sliding into those textbook tackles)in the destroyer position, he isn't going to chip in with the goals we need to win the EPL.

Barry is a better passer and has scored goals throughout his career and is fundemental to the shape of the team.... unless Rossi signs in the next few days...
 
well said pep! barry is class he has a job to do and he does it really well! he might not have the speed or flair of nasri, silva but he gives us something that nobody in the team does!
 
I'm very happy that Barca and City fans (and the managers) can have mutual respect toward each other.

First it's Chelsea (and Mourinho) at our throats about trifle things, then it's Man United (and Ferguson), then it's Arsenal (and Wenger), then it's Inter (and Mourinho), then it's Real (and Mourinho, starting to see a pattern?).... blah blah blah.

For being a team of "mercenaries" that are "bribed with oil money," it seems that City still manages to stay a class ahead of United, Chelsea, and Real. Funny how that works....
