Exactly - Palace nicked it off The Dave Clark Five. Appreciate they've been singing it since the 60's but either way, it wasn't written by a bunch of Palace fans specifically for the club and the band they lifted it from weren't exactly from Croydon either - they're from Tottenham ffs!

Funny how one of them said it sounded weird with us singing it and swapping Glad All Over for Guardiola - I thought it sounded bang on and it was great when everyone was at it. There's a cracking YouTube vid online filmed from the Stoke end where it comes across really well.

If Palace fans want to bastardise a load of Oasis songs as revenge for us nicking a song that was never theirs in the first place, they're welcome to because frankly I couldn't give a shit. Anyway, I can't wait until November when we play them at theirs - I hope we drown out their shitty ultras with it for 90 minutes!

In fact, they do have the wharped mindset of European Ultras.

CTID for one - started off by Lecky in 1996 at QPR away and probably been adopted by over half the teams in the football league at one point or other since, along with England fans of course. My boss - a United fan - even said some reds tried to get it going in the J Stand at Old Trafford during a game years ago - "I'm J Stand 'til I die"! - but it didn't catch on very well. Thing is though, at least the words are different to "I'm H A P P Y" and Lecky put a bit of imagination into it. All the Palace fans did with GAO is adopt the exact same words from the song and are now trying to claim some copyright to it the fucking gimps!
