I think we are completely missing this I dont think he will play a 4-2-3-1 I think he will play something along the lines of a 4-3-3(2)

I agree, I can't see Pep going with 4-2-3-1 either. I reckon a 4-3-3 setup but if we secure the ball playing cb's that pep craves then the formation can then change to 3-4-3 or whatever he chooses

Jonas Hector plays for Koln. Probably going to be Germany's starting leftback at the Euros. I think he'll probably beat out Howedes. Big strong, technically sound. A little tall for a fullback. But solid all around.

Perreirra is more of a statistical genius. Never had of him until this season. But apparently he is statistically the best LB under 23. So I went looking for videos on him. Caught a few games and he was quite impressive. Portuguese kid, who plays kinda like the Chelsea right back under Mourihno, Jose Boaingwa.. Skillful, fast, aggressive in the tackle, and a pretty accomplished passer.

Oscar, who's more of a Portuguese afficianado swears he is the 5 or 6th best Portuguese leftback.

I think he is about to explode. But in general, I just want a solid Leftback. :) I think those 2 fit the bill.

Haha well perhaps. But the way I see it were trusting pep to develop players way beyond their apparent ceiling.

From what I've seen cresswell is very good on the ball, off the ball can be coached and were likely to have the ball the majority of the time anyway.

Dax's shout of Hector is good, I almost put ghoulam. Seems like things went a bit quiet on Gaya.

But we need to buy some squad players with lower expectations too, hungry players and one's with a point to prove.
