I think otamendi could be pep's captain.Like others have said Hart appears to be the only current player who could become captain. I accept its not ideal as he is not an outfield player.
My wish would be to see Pep bring a captain in with him. Someone who would have the respect of others but importantly, the desire to improve himself as well as those around him. I don't know a name though, hopefully Pep does.
So nothing new and not already in the public domain. The club has said 4-5 signings but with some for the future as well. Players like Sane could be classed as - for the future - even though they will cost a few quid.Just listening to the appalling Balague on SSN, he reckons Guardiola wants 5 players - keeper, centre backs, midfielders and winger/striker - Godin as a 60m possibility and Laporte were mentioned - over to the SSN shouting man presenter Rob Wotton 'Man City one to eleven then!!!'

I'd be tempted to think that this is City leaking bullshit on purpose just to wind old Arsene up.
I'm a fan of the bolded portion. 23 and younger. Youthify the team with talent. No one over 25 please!!!!A lot of people saying we need 8 or 9 new first 11 players, but i just dont think that is realistic. For me we have a core group who are good enough: Hart, Clichy, Sagna, Otamendi, Dinho, KDB, Silva, Aguero - we add a manager who can get those players playing, motivated and with a purpose and add maybe Stones, Pogba, Griezmann etc (only 3 or 4 top class players though) and we have a truely quality side.
I'm not saying we dont bring in other players, but I'd like them to be young players who have to come in and learn and fight for their places.

If Sterling develops, that's our likely starting 11. With 2 more required. LB and RW.If Pep was naming a team tomorrow maybe it would look like this. He likes attacking fullbacks..He likes an Alonso, Busquets which we don't have. The nearest is Nando and he likes wide attackers.
