Guess the City game

Your user name made me think of Huddersfield 10-1 - but my brain has remembered the wrong manager. For some reason I have thought for years that Bruce Rioch was the manager. So it was Malcolm McDonald then ?.
Great memories of the Charlton game - size of the croud for one thing. Officially 47,800 but I think Peter Swale's accountants were rigging the turnstiles.
My guess - stood on the Kippax was 52,000. Happy days.

I watched a few Huddersfield games when Worthington played for them. Always played on the side nearest the main stand so that visiting scouts could get a get a good look. Very entertaining after dinner speaker.

Correct , the commentator was believe it or not "Red" Clive Tyldesley!!
