I have also. I also do not see much wrong with the quotes attributed to Elano in this article.
This year, the way he reacted to not playing by working hard every chance he got to play was impressive.
He has also scored some important goals (albeit mostly penalties, though 8 is a good tally for the amt. of time he plaid) for us this season and he often makes excellent incisive passes that lead to goals.
I know he has some rough spots, but I believe that a lot of the time the events are blown out of proportion. Similar to the "bust-up" between Hughes and Richards and many of the other "events" that the sensational media used to sell papers.
With all that said, Sneijder is very good and (of course) I would love to see him in the blue. But he has been injured a great deal over the past two years. Lets hope he would want to come to City.
If we do sell Elano he will definitely need replacing, as we are very thin on creativity in the midfield (mostly on the passing side). Which was put on display all to often this year.
