Guidetti interviews in Sweden (City ambitions, soon 100% fit)

This injury will only make him stronger, I get the feeling he is destined for greatness at this club and I love his attitude! Wish him all the best and I hope Pellegrini can get him scoring and gives him the chance.

Quite funny how people write him off as a mid table player, the guy played for Feyenoord and was their top scorer, they absolutely loved him there. Scored some quality goals & provided plenty of assists as well as having sublime skill, what more do you want?!

From what I've read in here, most of those opinions seems to be based on his performances for the reserve and youth teams (he has been good, but people say he hasn't been as outstanding as some expect). Obviously, as a striker you rely on the service you get though and he probably had better service at a team like Feyenoord, while the EDS seems to struggle a bit. But I haven't seen him myself in any youth/reserve team to judge.

A lot of penalties in that time also. And "bunched" goals. (2/3 in game)

what the F... is your problem? he scored 4 in 5 EDS games this spring. You moaning about our own players.

One of the criticisms I had of Mancini was his reluctance to try one or two of these players (not just talking about Guidetti but some of the other promising young players). I think his idea was to use them in the League cup which he did and they (as well as some senior players) played shit and it almost seemed like from that moment he'd decided they had had their chance. Even in our last game against Norwich I don't understand why we didn't play some youngsters instead of playing senior players out of position or players who clearly don't have a future with us. I hope this will change in the future.

Bit hard to blame Mancini, as most managers don't try and bring that much youth through, unless they are secure in there job especially top 4 teams , as youth players can be pretty hit and miss.

Fergie didn't really start bringing loads of youth players through till he'd won a few titles, and Wengers first few sides weren't littered with young lads. Once you've won a bit, then you start to bring youth through.
