Definitely needs a loan.

Maybe that plus 15m for Benteke?

no thanks. Dont see why we always have to loan players out, if they are good enough they will make it

It´s a bit old fashioned to think that we just nurture players to use them ourselves, it´s part of the business model at many clubs because having players out on loan like say Udinese do (they have hundreds of players out on loan) can be very profitable in a kind of "Rent a footballer" style..
In this context we might look at the Academy plans that got space for about 400 players.

Can't wait for him to make his debut.

Hasn't he already played for the 1st team? WBA away in the cup?

Let him be fit for the preseason so pellegrini and Txiki can judge him. Hopefully he's ready to battle for a 1st team place. I'd prefer Guidetti to be succesfull over any big money transfer, but after a year with hardly any competitive football, it'll be hard for the lad.

A doncaster rovers unofficial website site is running the following story....

''The Doncaster Star has reported that Rovers are lining up an ambitious bid to take Manchester City striker John Guidetti on loan next season.
The Swedish striker caught the eye two seasons ago when on loan with Feyenoord, scoring 20 goals in 23 games for them, and Dickov is hoping that his contacts with City may give Rovers an advantage to sign the player.
It had looked likely that Guidetti would join Sunderland next season, but City are understandably reluctant to allow him to sign for another club in the Premier League.

Guidetti has not played a senior game for 14 months due to a combination of serious illness and injury, but returned to the City's "Elite Development Squad" late last season. City are keen to see him compete at first team level as they consider his future at the club.''

That'll be nice, I can pop to a few games and report back on his progress!!

If plans are to loan him out next season, we really really need to sign two more strikers.

If the club are going looking to loan out Guidetti again then we should be aiming for a club that is at a higher standard.
