Guidetti On Loan

at least we will have the opportunity to watch him on a regular basis. fantastic move if it is pulled off!!

imagine if he goes on and scores 15 - 20 goals, we will have some player on our hands.

he won't get 15 - 20 goals next year.

im not sure loaning him to a side that play 1 striker would be good. if he isn't the 1 striker, he will not gain anything, and it will be hard for him to guarantee that 1 spot all the time. if he is only playing a bit part job it would be worthless.

it will be very difficult for him as josh mchearchan went on loan there(and had worked with rodgers previously) and it didnt go to well for him although i believe guidetti will do well at swansea if he continues to work hard and shows the right attitude, i have a dutch friend who watches dutch footy regularly and he rates guidetti quite high so we'll see how it goes, these loans can be beneficial as we've seen with miyachi, wilshere and strurridige.

That other kid from Feyenoord, Jordy Clasie, would be a great addition. Good tackling midfielder who can pick a beauty of a pass.

Has he got over his illness?

He says he's not 100% and doesn't know when that will be. Not too long but there wasn't enough time before the Euros.
Apparently the source of his problems was a piece of undercooked chicken he ate back in the past which eventually led to a nerve problem in his leg. He syas he will be more careful about eating chicken in the future, making sure it's thoroughly cooked.

He also says, in regards to his future, that he wants to stay with City and would accept playing as a "third striker". He realizes he wont be given the nr.10 and won't be wearing the captains armband and is fine with that. Playing as a "fifth striker" however is something he is very hesitant about.

If City loans him out he's fine with that as well.
He's very happy with his time in Feyenoord and has learned a lot from Koeman, who apparently says Guidetti reminds him of Van der Vaart.

Bergkamp now a 6/1 favourite to be next Swansea boss. I know we shouldn't really pay attention to managerial and transfer betting markets because it's just hot money but if that move were to come to fruition, if I were Guidetti, Swansea would 100% be my first choice

Swansea would be a great move so long as the next manager plays a similar style to what Rodgers did
