Guinness shortage

Mulligans off Deansgate takes the piss, its about 7 quid a pint in there.

Any idea what caused the recent surge in popularity with the annoying "split the g' tossers? Was only a few years ago I was being mocked for drinking Guinness, being told its like drinking a pint of gravy etc
£7.50 when I was in a week or two ago

Went in last year to try it - was very average so felt ripped off. Best one I’ve had in the last few years was in Banshee in Stockport (I only drink Guinness once every couple of months)

Thats mental. Can't believe people are willing to pay that, especially in Manchester. Was in central London the other day and even there was below 7
That's the thing with Manchester boozers nowadays, a lot of them pricey as London, and all to get "served" by the side of a cocky arsed students head while they pour you a pint of Guinness straight, complete with a nice bubbly head, I live in didsbury and there's no better feeling than paying £15 for two drinks and getting told to stop moaning by the Mrs after the bar staff have made a right fuck of pouring a Guinness because they couldn't be arsed.

The Guinness in the local wetherspoons here is absolutely amazing. We all drink it, in several pubs, and all agree it is loads better in there. And they pour it properly, with a two pour one settle method. And its cheap
Yeah wetherspoons was a bad reference thinking about it, they normally serve up a half decent pint to be fair.
I wrote that after a couple of pints....

There's a bar near my office that does a 3-part pour and charges $9/7 GBP. Nice enough place but I don't want to encourage these people.
