Got one of these a while back. Made in China so it's budget Fender, I think it might actually be the cheapest Fender you can buy and I read that it was meant to be a Squire Classic Vibe series but they decided to stick Fender on the headstock instead (and probably £50 on the price).

The colours are cool Obviously. The neck pickup is a pretty good jazz style pup and the bridge pup is a 'triplebucker'. It looks a bit shit/weird but it sounds pretty good and gives the guitar a kind of strat feel. It has 5 options on the switch too like a strat.

For the price it's pretty amazing, not my favourite guitar but I'm considering switching up the pups in it and giving it a bit of a upgrade. It stays in tune like a fucking God though, especially considering the trem is pretty basic,

Looks lovely mate but Im sure its a fake.....unless they are Squier labeled guitars, they are not part of the Fender line. I'm 99.9% sure those are the only guitars you'll find Fender ever made in China.

You will find Fender labelled guitars made in Japan, Korea, Mexico and the US, if you look around, but not China.

If Im wrong on this my apologies but Im sure Im right.

anyways time we had some Les Pauls on here, heres my 2 :)

I did a lot of reading up before paying for it as I had my doubts too but it is legit.

Or legit as in, from what I can gather, it was intended to be part of the Squire classic vibe series as they've been getting rave reviews but someone at Fender liked it and decided to put the name Fender on it instead of Squire to give it more appeal.

I like to think of it as a cheap Fender but in reality it's more an expensive Squire.

I've been quite impressed with the quality to be honest, it's much better than I expected.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not bigging it up too much it is what it is and at under £300 it's a budget guitar. Putting Fender on the headstock could be viewed as devious or misleading but I quite like it's black sheep 'what is it?' position in the Fender/Squire range.

It's also got a cool backstory as it's an updated take on a guitar Fender advertised but never released back in the 60s as they deemed it too 'futuristic' looking. It's pups were under the scratchplate and it looked very weird. I think it had 4 pups too.

I think I've admitted it before too but I'm a bit of a Fender fanboy at times!

thats ok mate, my mate is the same loves anything Fender, Ive never been a fan of the thin Fender tone and I love Gibson guitars.

My favourite 'tone' would be Mick Taylor, Peter Green & Clapton when they were with John Mayall, or Claptons tone in Cream. or this with Peter Green (F Mac)

I'm pretty certain that it's a Fender modern player Marauder. You can pick them up new for around £250.

Anyway, here's my latest acquisition.......

I'm also selling this if anyone's after a brilliant SG for £600?

I'm very happy with my Led Paul, but if I could have a second guitar it would be a Gibson 335. £2,000 + tells me that isn't possible at the moment.

I used to have an american Start with SC-1 switching and I never gigged it, which is a regret.
