Gundogan - Back training 26th June '17

I have an answer

It will definitely have had an effect. Your acl stops your anterior translation of the tibia on the femur. It's probable that as soon as Gundogan was fit to play again, the specialist rehab on his knee cap stopped when it should have carried on for at least another 6 months
If you can find out rehab should have continued for six months, why is it probable it stopped ? Surely the doctors, physios at the club or in Barcelona would know about the correct rehab too.

Think about Aguero and his continual problems and Kompany with his. They get the player fit to play and the rehab stops
Our doctors and physios have let our players down big time over the last few years

Well, not exactly. His price can't solely have been a function of the unexpired term of his contract. His age, ability as well as his injury record would also have been contributory factors.
He had a year out to correct his back, someone posted his injury record at the time we brought him and his back aside it was pretty good,a few times it was illness not injury,i don't recall how old he is but i don't think he is too old

He's 25 iirc and I'm aware of the other matters to which you refer, but all the factors I mentioned would have contributed to his price, not just his injury record.

Gundogon was using the ex Barca doctor as do most of our players with longer term injuries now, so using the past to guess about rehab isnt valid.

Have we had official confirmation anywhere of this being an ACL rupture or are we still going on the post match diagnosis and what that well known medical publication Bild wrote this morning?
