Sadly there’s no room for sentiment in football…. Gundo has been great for us and I for one am grateful for all he’s done but time waits for no man and the sands of time are definitely catching up with him. He will be fine in Spain or Italy but he’s getting found out in the PL a and we need to add more pace and energy into the engine room. It’s the right decision for all parties and it should be applauded - good luck to Mr Whippy - I’m sure he has a future in the game beyond playing… now let’s hope we get an A1 replacement.

Sadly I am not sure that's the case, he is having serious back issues, hence why he is playing time is low.

Top player top servant, love the guy . Class on and off the pitch but I think the timing is spot on with this one if he were to leave in the summer . Pep mentioned about his back and his weight not too long ago seems past injuries are finally catching up with him . Last thing we want is another situation next season like we’ve got with Fernandinho where it’s like he’s running in mud and becomes a liability . Frenkie De Jong would be the ideal replacement .

Just because he's slow doesn't make him intelligent. Good player but not our most intelligent. KDB, Silva and Yaya all on a different level for me.
