Mine too. Pleasing to the eye. But over the last 2-4 year, no player has been more overrated by the fans, media and other footballers alike. He is constantly on the short list for Ballon Dor, yet everyone else on the list dwarfs him statistically. But somehow he often gets to be the exception.
Anyway, I'll leave this argument alone, coz I have had it enough times that it has gotten boring.
On the way back from Madrid I spoke to some Villarreal fans on the way to Anfield and they said they for the past 3 years Spain's best Player has been David Silva.

Sure I read something somewhere last year or so about him being Spain's highest ever scoring midfielder now. If Gundogan can have half the impact Silva has then he'll have been a bargain at £17m.
I have gotten into the David Silva is better than Iniesta multiple times over the last 4 years than I care to remember. I know I have a false reputation here for being a Silva hater ( thanks Shaels) but in reality I love the guy to death. Midfielders like Gundogan are ones that help players like Kun and Sterling fully flourish - especially Raheem.
It isn't surprising that he struggled this year given Yaya's form drop, Merlin's injury woes and Nasri's absence - not to mention Kolarov's all round shitness.
