We bought him from Aston Villa as center midfielder and Mancini played him out on the wing and it seems to have stuck. I agree with your post but I can see why Mancini stuck him out wide...to cover the runs from the fullbacks and his constant running. I do hope we see more of him in center midfielder though.

Spot on,...he was fantastic against QPR in that roll last January, then Mancini took him off !

Definately one of Mancini's strangest decisions last season.
 
Arsenal refused to pay £18million for him and he's joining Wolfsburg according to the German media. What a joke Arsenal are if this is true! He would have been a monstrous signing for them and £18million is good value, but their penny pinchers always want a discount.

If this is a case I would be asking serious questions if I was an Arsenal fan.

I don't think they will get Suarez either, Liverpool would be insane to sell to the team who they want to compete for the top 4 with.

If anything, Suarez being payed wages for a season in the reserves is still beneficial to Liverpool rather than him being at Arsenal, and I think Henry's stance last week pretty much confirmed they will not sell Suarez.
