Remember picking up the book coming back from Tenerife & I had read it by the time I get home!! never in my life have I done that before or since!!!

awayday isnt a film for dippers just as the book isnt

just about lads who are into their football and fashion,the violence is a side story

as it stands the films nowhere near as good as the book,i saw it at a private screening in london

I've never had an interest in watching football violence films but watched that danny dyer yank/west ham one on tv the other week - it was absolutely sh1te but one of the unintentionally funniest things I've ever seen.

It is a good read BUT it is more of the urban legend style to it than the real deal of those days - well that what it seems to me.

Agreed (well except the 'wankers' bit!), i read it a few times. If you are going to take it as the truth then you may be a bit deluded, but i would say its based on actual events even if they have been over-stated!

But whatever, it is a bl**dy good read.
