It's a good read.
But to admire the man for battering people is pretty sad.

Aimed at a certain age group. I read this and Hoolifan in my early 20's and found them fascinating. Fast forward 15 years and I would rather stick hot drawing pins in my eyes.mammutly said:It's a good read.

Also a good account of the Manchester scene at the time, Underground Market & Arndale.
Get it on Amazon would definitely recommend.

Benny's book is a decent read as well. Donald Farrer always threatened a book as well but it never came to fruition.
Forgot about Benny's (Guvnor General ) as you say a decent read for anyone interested in City but also a very
poignant read in parts.
I wonder what Donald's book would have been like, perhaps he still has it in him.
Of the other clubs I think Jay Allan's is one of the best. It was possibly the first one out in about 1990 and was about Aberdeen's firm.
I opened a thread in the cellar on the underground market a while back. Got a lot of replies, and some good tales reminiscing about the many stalls and stuff down there.Whitworth Park said:If you want a City Hooligan book get.
