Everton has a superior spirit. That is the stark truth.

We on the otherhand are a work in progress. We have better players but they have something we dont.

Spirit can define your success in life and those with healthy spirits tend to have good fortune and outcomes.

absolute bollocks, where was their spirit last week? They only have spirit when they play against us, which I think boils down to them having a massive chip on their shoulder that they have little money to spend.

Put Moyes in charge of a decent team with high expectations and a decent transfer budget and he would be shown up for the clown that he truly is.

I've still got him nailed on for the swamp job....

Open top bus parade leaving from Goodison tomorrow midday, doing a full circle around Stanley Park and back to Goodison for 12.30 where the players will be presented to the Everton faithful live on Sky. Moyesy and Kenwright will be given the freedom of the City in honour of todays historic result. Moyes was unavailable for comment tonight as he is still suckling Sir Alex's third nipple but is believed to have dedicated the result to Howard Kendall, Duncan Mckenzie and Bob Latchford.

for me personally today was typical of how everton and moyes are. no disrespect to city but i would sooner we beat wigan last week than any victory today. sadly today will just paper over the cracks again and most lads i sat with today would still like to see the back of moyes.

I don't think most of us will see that as disrespect. We don't understand why you're treating us like the cup final, & the chance to play in the cup final doesn't raise it.
most of our fans don't and i know that sounds hypocritical after today !! but, under moyes we have never won at anfield, arsenal , united or chelsea in the league.it's a sign of how far you have come that some of ours do. goodison would not have been the same if we had beaten fulham with 10 men. look at last season in the semi v liverpool, again moyes bottled it. even today where he takes off mirallas and puts on naismith -anyone could see anichebe was shattered. he stutters to results - the man is clueless.

Looking from the outside Moyes and Kenwright are trying to convince fans that beating United City and Liverpool at home is acceptable in the same way Wenger has Arsenal fans fooled that a profit and 4th is a good season.

It sounds like not all Everton fans are not quite so gullible.

we are actually changing it to the "papals club " as it's 3 popes since we last won a trophy

Fair play ;)
And you're only 1 pope behind arsenal :)

lol, but as we are the club supported by George VI, the Queen, her mum, Prince Harry,King Olav of Norway, Fidel Castro and Mick Jagger we measure our trophy cycles in terms of sovereigns and not popes. As Everton already took the peoples club title we'll have to settle for the club of kings. Surprising Sheikh Mansour didn't fancy paying a small premium for that :-)

Neverton beat us fair and square

Meanwhile we will qualify for the Champions League and go to Wemberlee again. Hell we might even finish second for the first time since the seventies and win even more fucking silverware in successive seasons......

shit fucking days to be a True Blue huh?!

Arab royalty is your thing. What I cant work out about bin Laden is why he allegedly sat in the Clock(cheapest end plus i never saw him) rather than the good seats. If he'd used his money differently we'd be going for our 9th consecutive CL trophy and he'd still be alive.

we're gods own club.

I thought MOTD was fair,i was more suprised at Pearce saying it was a pivitol day in the premier league, when in reality it was over weeks ago.If we had won today we would still be twelve points behind with nine games to go,so little change really.
