You keep posting the same erratic points in different threads instead of replying to my points. Weak
I'll bite. What are your compelling, salient points, overwhelmingly convincing to one and all that we'll sign MBappe or Haaland - or indeed any top, top, top dollar (pound) striker?

I've clearly stated my points over and again - IMO we'll probably sign some sort of potentially great striker - but no striker at top prices.
===
My points again:
1) It's not clear that we even need a top striker;
2) We cannot afford to pay top price for any player - this is consistent with our xfer policy for 10-years plus running; Pep has stated so publically.
3) We especially cannot afford to upset UEFA due to numerous factors.

I'd love to sign MBappe or Haaland in the next window - but it's not happening unless one of these players comes to Pep and states that it's his desire to play under Pep - 100%. In which case, we'd very much try to make it happen.

I don’t think we will sign Mbappe and never said so. There is an obvious diplomatic impediment. And a second one: the player doesn’t want to play for an English team.

HOWEVER, the window PSG got Mbappe, we were in for him (like other clubs) and we were going to pay the “top price” (to quote you) that PSG payed. The issue wasn’t money. But he wanted PSG.

The issue with Haaland won’t be money either

I think that it very much will be.

We recently escaped UEFA sanctions based on our transfer policy.

And the Superleague bullshit isn't going to help.

We're already in UEFA's bad books - signing Haaland for a world record xfer fee is going to screw us with UEFA big time.

Moreover, unless Haaland states that he's 100% committed to our side, we won't be overly aggressive pursing him - this is Pep's way.

Finally - name a single instance - where - under current management (say 6 years or so) where we signed the most expensive player at any position - whereas instead we've consistently not pursued such players and instead have seeked value for our investment.

You give me MAJOR BOT VIBES. I have already answered to all these points in the other thread and you keep asking them with literally the same wording

This one is particularly funny:

“Moreover, unless Haaland states that he's 100% committed to our side, we won't be overly aggressive pursing him - this is Pep's way.”

Lol. In case you didn’t know, we are already in talks, and the player hasn’t done such thing

Very well then - expert Gus.

What are your odds that Haaland or Mbappe will be in our side next year? Name a figure.

I’m not an idiot who keeps throwing “odds” at every post as if that means anything. There are better ways to discuss things: reasonable arguments and facts

Excellent - odds don't matter as you say. Instead, one must base his or her opinion not on odds but on - ... huh?
