I'm really hoping that Erling will notch 40 in the league. To put that in perspective, it's been done once in the top flight since World War Two. That was in 1960/61, when Jimmy Greaves scored 41 for Chelsea, having played in 40 of their fixtures.
That Haaland is on course to match a feat achieved only once in not far short of 80 years, and then by one of the true all-time greats, shows what a fantastic goalscorer he already is. I think he'll get better, as well.
