The most surprising and indeed impressive thing I’ve taken from those stats is how on earth Nicolas Jackson is only 22. I thought he was 26-27 by the look of him.

Also shout out to Vinicius for playing 337 games at 23 and though whilst by no means is it bad I expected his goal tally to be higher.

Interestingly enough: Even some have argued Haaland's been on a draught, studying the 50 goal graph development of him shows it's been a pretty consistent climb to the goal rate. More so than the other three closest record holders, which all have had a more turbulent climb.

Broke his own record that he set at Dortmund too(fastest in any of Europe's big leagues since 2000). Planet football updated their article, so Haaland now holds the top two spots.

I suppose you have to factor in that Sergio wasn't taking penalties in his early City career as it was either Balotelli or Yaya whereas Haaland has already scored 10 penalties in the league.

He also had quite a few injuries in his second and third seasons at the club so a lot of those 81 appearances were him coming back from an injury and as we know he usually took a few games to get back up to speed.

Absolutely crazy how far ahead of everyone else he is. Also worth noting that one of our own Phil Foden has 69 in 267 (0.26) which is 65 in 236 for City (0.28) and dragged down by 4 in 31 for England. Up there with Vinicius, although Phil has a much bigger trophy cabinet.

Those top two are freaks. Haaland is well on course to get into the top 5 in 3 or 4 more years. 32 more goals needed, an average of 8 a season.
