Anyone know a blue who was cremated yesterday at Blackley Crematorium, I was there for my sisters funeral and there was loads n loads of blues there.

I’m pretty sure that could well be Hadge who I went to school with in Failsworth , after we left I ended up in the Army I’m pretty sure he went into plumbing

A lovely bloke and somebody who always had time for a laugh and a joke when I umpired cricket games in the Denton/Flowery Fields/Droylsden area in the GMCL

I was at Tommy Muir's Funeral when a mutual acquaintance confided that Hadge was struggling
A really sad week and one that feels like the end of an era.

I go back a long way with Hadge. A big shock when I found out he was in hospital yesterday at Tommy’s funeral. My heartfelt condolences go to Jean and Adam. RIP Hadge.

Another one of the old guard has left us today, Hadge Johnson who was well known amongst blues passed away today. RIP Hadge
